Have you had any luck I have a new battery and went on a 1600 mile trip and everything seemed great. My wife has been driving it the past week and things were great I drove it to the dr things were great and then got home and no chimes through radio. Voltage seems just fine too 😊

3:36 I was at a pool party when I was really young and they had one of these types of covers. Someone accidentally removed it because it kind of hung on their toe somehow and I remember panicking when they brought it up to the surface. AND THEN THEY WENT BACK DOWN AND SCREWED IT BACK ON! I just would have abandoned the pool forever, lol. One of my earliest memories of having this phobia. I couldn't have been more than like five years old.

*Update* Like I said in the video, I always had an issue with the top rear door padding squeaking, but now there's an annoying rattle in the left rear door that won't go away no matter what I do. There are also some other intermittent rattles around the driver's door. I also hear a rattle coming from the passenger side rocker panel which I discovered is missing 2 clips and another is broken... I like the car itself but I'm really disappointed in the build quality as it relates to squeaks/rattles 😕For some reason a 2016 I drove had ZERO squeaks and rattles and it had 80K miles...

Either the MKZ Reserve or Continental in any trim. Lincoln needs to give us back choice for sedans.

Oh My God you are explaining exactly my pain! My neighbor used to have an old Lennox unit that was literally constantly on next to my bedroom. It would always suddenly wake me in the night when it was freezing and the compressor would be so loud when it kicked on. pain for five years! Finally new homeowner moved in and the first thing they did was to replace the unit!

Try high pressure fuel pump and cup They are known to knock and rattle. Get a stethoscope and listen to pump it should be pretty obvious.

You can adjust suspension response from sport normal or comfort. Press left steering wheel configurations. I think it is driver assist

Since I've been asked about this a lot, this is what someone told me as to why the chimes on Lincoln/Ford vehicles sometimes randomly change: *"The old quad-tone is coming from the ICM, and the newer one is from the APIM. Before the APIM fully boots, the ICM generates chimes so that you have SOME chimes. Once the APIM is started, it tells the ICM to stop. That, and when the battery voltage is lower, it puts the chime through the ICM, because it uses less power."* With our ownership of 3 different Ford/Lincoln vehicles, it's normal to occasionally hear the different chime. If you're hearing it repeatedly along with other frequent things going on such as the vehicle telling you it's going into power saving mode or you're experiencing electrical gremlins, we've found that the 12V battery was weak and needed replacing as it could no longer keep up with the car's power-hungry electronics, even though it had enough juice to start the engine.

*UPDATE: coolant began leaking into the combustion chamber (blown head gasket, very common issue with the 2nd gen 2.0 and 2.3L EcoBoosts) in May 2023 causing cylinder 1 to misfire at 37,000 miles. Engine was replaced via CPO. New engine (having an updated block/cooling jacket design) was built March 1 2023*

Sometimes when the battery is low, the APIM does not fully power up right away, so it plays the chime through the dashboard via the ignition control module. All of the old ford trucks prior to 2015 did this anyway so that's why it plays the old chime It may also use the ICM if there's a problem with the sound system, like a speaker disconnected or if a fuse burns up. I had a speaker out in my F150 for a while and it would always play any sort of audible warning/chime through the ICM/dashboard area, even the backup alert sensor. So if it goes back to the normal chime after a few minutes, then it's completely normal. If not, then there's most likely a sound system or APIM problem.

I'm terrified of pool drains and here's the reason why. So about 3 or 4 years ago me and my parents went to a super 8 motel. After awhile, I decided to go to the indoor swimming pool. The shallow end was 4-5ft deep, and the deep end was around 13ft deep. So I went in the shallow end of the pool, the Jets were very strange. They were just 4in PVC pipe cemented to the wall. So I stayed away from those. I swim to the deep end, and I look underneath my feet... A massive 6ft by 6ft round metal grate. It looked like the drain from the movie 12 meters or something. It was VERY rusty, covered in grime, and there even was a swimsuit stuck to it. I BOLTED out of that pool so fast, I couldn't breathe I was so terrified. NEVER go to super 8 ever

This is a great engine option if you don't need all the extra power of the 3.5 or V8 complexity in terms of maintenance. I do however prefer the V8 but I'm old school 🤙🏽😎

Always use manufacturer specific full synthetic oil and change it every 5-6k miles and that engine will last a long time.

For some Gearheads it's very satisfying to just listen to the sounds that engines make especially at night, it's Asmr for sure. To observe and listen to how everything works in tandem.
